Launch Your Blog Biz is a beginner blogging course from Create & Go, created to help new bloggers start a blog, publish content, and build the foundations for earning online.
It is aimed at people who want a clear step-by-step roadmap rather than a pile of random tutorials.
That makes it especially appealing if you are a busy parent trying to build something flexible around work, family, and real life.
But blogging has changed.
SEO is more competitive. AI content has raised the bar. Pinterest and social media are less predictable than they used to be. And beginners now need more than basic setup lessons if they want to build a blog that lasts.
So the real question is:
Is Launch Your Blog Biz still worth it in 2026?
In this review, I’ll break down:
- What Launch Your Blog Biz teaches
- Who created it
- How it fits into the wider Create & Go ecosystem
- How much it costs
- Whether beginners can realistically get results
- Where the course falls short
- How it compares to alternatives like Wealthy Affiliate
My goal is to help you decide whether Launch Your Blog Biz is the right starting point for your blog, or whether a broader platform with hosting, tools, SEO training, and support would be a better fit.
Launch Your Blog Biz: Quick Verdict
Overall Rating: 4.4 / 5
Launch Your Blog Biz is a beginner-friendly blogging course from Create & Go. It teaches new bloggers how to choose a niche, set up a blog, create content, and begin monetising through affiliate marketing, ads, and other beginner-friendly methods.
The biggest strength is structure. Instead of leaving you to piece together free tutorials, the course gives you a clear path to follow from idea to launched blog.
Best For:
- Complete beginners who want to start a blog
- Busy parents who need clear, simple steps
- Bloggers who prefer video lessons and checklists
- People who want a one-time course rather than a monthly platform
Not Ideal For:
- Bloggers who already understand WordPress and content creation
- Anyone wanting advanced SEO or traffic training
- People who need hosting, tools, and technical support included
- Bloggers looking for live coaching or a full all-in-one platform
My quick verdict?
Launch Your Blog Biz is a solid starting point if you want a structured course that helps you launch a blog without feeling overwhelmed.
However, it is still a standalone course. You will need separate hosting, tools, keyword research support, and ongoing learning as your blog grows.
If you want everything in one place, Wealthy Affiliate may offer better long-term value for beginners and busy parents.
Who Are Lauren McManus and Alex Nerney?
Launch Your Blog Biz was created by Lauren McManus and Alex Nerney, the founders of Create & Go, one of the best-known blogging education brands for beginners.

Before creating online courses, Lauren worked as a CPA while Alex worked as a personal trainer. Like many people exploring blogging today, they wanted more freedom, flexibility, and control over their time than a traditional career offered.
They began building niche websites as a side hustle and eventually grew one of their blogs into a six-figure business. Rather than keeping their methods to themselves, they documented what worked and created step-by-step training to help others follow a similar path.
Over time, Create & Go expanded beyond Launch Your Blog Biz to include courses covering SEO, Pinterest marketing, list building, and blog monetisation.
Today, Lauren remains the public face of the business, supported by a wider team that continues updating the training to reflect changes in blogging, SEO, and online marketing.
Why People Trust Create & Go
One reason Create & Go has remained popular is its practical teaching style.
Instead of overwhelming beginners with technical jargon, Lauren and her team focus on simple, actionable lessons that help students make steady progress.
Their courses won’t promise overnight success or instant income.
Instead, they encourage building a blog one step at a time through consistent content, realistic expectations, and long-term growth.
What Is Launch Your Blog Biz?
Launch Your Blog Biz is Create & Go’s flagship beginner blogging course.

It was created for people who have little or no blogging experience and want a structured roadmap for building a self-hosted WordPress blog from scratch.
Rather than expecting you to piece together dozens of YouTube tutorials, the course walks you through each stage of the process in a logical order.
You’ll learn how to:
- Choose a profitable blogging niche.
- Register a domain name and set up WordPress.
- Create your essential website pages.
- Write helpful blog content.
- Understand the basics of SEO.
- Start building traffic.
- Introduce affiliate marketing and other monetisation methods.
- Begin growing an email list.
Lessons are delivered through short videos, downloadable worksheets, templates, and checklists that make it easier to stay organised.
The course is completely self-paced, allowing you to work through each module whenever your schedule allows.
For busy parents, that flexibility is one of its biggest strengths.
What Makes Launch Your Blog Biz Different?
There are hundreds of blogging courses available today, so what makes Launch Your Blog Biz stand out?
The biggest difference is its focus on simplicity.
Rather than trying to teach every advanced blogging strategy from day one, the course concentrates on helping complete beginners launch a blog with confidence.
A Clear Roadmap
Every lesson builds on the previous one.
Instead of wondering what to do next, you’re given a straightforward sequence that takes you from choosing a niche to publishing your first posts and beginning to monetise your blog.
Beginner-Friendly Teaching
Lauren explains each step in plain language, making the course approachable even if you’ve never used WordPress before.
The training avoids unnecessary technical jargon and focuses on practical actions you can complete immediately.
Templates and Checklists
One of my favourite features is the collection of templates, worksheets, and downloadable checklists.
They remove much of the guesswork and make it easier to keep moving forward, especially when you’re fitting blogging around work and family life.
Built Around Real Life
Launch Your Blog Biz isn’t built around hustle culture.
The course encourages steady progress over perfection, making it a realistic option for parents, full-time workers, and anyone who only has a few hours each week to dedicate to their blog.
My Take
If you’re looking for an advanced SEO programme or a complete blogging platform with hosting and built-in tools, this probably isn’t the right fit.
But if your biggest challenge is simply getting started and knowing what to do next, Launch Your Blog Biz provides one of the clearest beginner roadmaps available.
How Does Launch Your Blog Biz Work?
Launch Your Blog Biz is designed to take you from having an idea for a blog to publishing content and beginning to earn your first income online.

The course is organised into a series of step-by-step modules that build on one another, making it easy to follow even if you’ve never created a website before.
Here’s how the process works.
Step 1: Choose Your Niche
The course starts by helping you choose a blog topic that matches your interests while also having the potential to attract readers and generate income.
You’ll learn how to narrow your ideas, understand your audience, and avoid common mistakes that lead to abandoned blogs.
Step 2: Build Your Blog
Next, Lauren walks you through setting up your self-hosted WordPress website.
This includes:
- Registering your domain name
- Setting up hosting
- Installing WordPress
- Choosing a theme
- Creating your essential pages
Everything is demonstrated through beginner-friendly video tutorials.
Step 3: Create Helpful Content
Once your website is live, the focus shifts to writing blog posts that genuinely help readers.
The course covers planning content, creating cornerstone articles, and developing a publishing routine that works around your schedule.
Step 4: Learn the Basics of SEO and Traffic
Rather than diving into advanced SEO, Launch Your Blog Biz introduces the fundamentals.
You’ll learn how search engines work, basic keyword research, simple on-page optimisation, and beginner traffic strategies, including Pinterest and social media.
Step 5: Monetise Your Blog
The final modules introduce several ways bloggers can earn income, including:
- Affiliate marketing
- Display advertising
- Sponsored content
- Email marketing
The emphasis is on building multiple income streams gradually rather than chasing quick wins.
My Take
I like the structure because it removes decision fatigue.
Instead of wondering what to do next, each lesson builds naturally on the previous one.
For beginners, especially busy parents, that’s often far more valuable than having hundreds of hours of advanced training.
How Much Does Launch Your Blog Biz Cost?
Launch Your Blog Biz is available as a one-time purchase rather than a monthly subscription.
At the time of writing, the course costs $297, although Create & Go occasionally offers payment plans or promotional discounts during special launches.
Your purchase includes:
- Lifetime access to the course
- Future course updates
- Downloadable worksheets and templates
- Checklists for every module
- Access to the private student community
Unlike subscription platforms, there are no ongoing monthly fees once you’ve enrolled.
Refund Policy
Create & Go offers a 14-day money-back guarantee.
If you decide the course isn’t the right fit, you can request a refund within the refund period, giving new students a chance to explore the material with relatively low risk.
Is It Good Value?
For complete beginners, I think the pricing is fair.
You’re paying for a structured roadmap that saves you from piecing together dozens of free tutorials.
However, it’s worth remembering that Launch Your Blog Biz is a standalone course.
You’ll still need to pay separately for:
- Website hosting
- Your domain name
- Email marketing software
- Keyword research tools
- Other blogging resources as your site grows
That’s worth considering when comparing it with all-in-one platforms that bundle many of those tools together.
What Support Do You Get?
One area where Launch Your Blog Biz performs well is community support.
Students receive access to Create & Go’s private Facebook community, where they can ask questions, celebrate milestones, and connect with other bloggers working through the course.
Private Facebook Community
The group is active and welcoming, with beginners sharing their progress and experienced members offering encouragement and practical advice.

Lauren and the Create & Go team regularly participate in discussions, helping answer questions and provide clarification when needed.
Course Updates
Because blogging continues to evolve, Create & Go updates the training periodically to reflect changes in WordPress, blogging tools, and online marketing.
That helps ensure students aren’t relying entirely on outdated lessons.
Self-Paced Learning
One advantage for parents is that there are no deadlines.
You can complete the course at your own pace, whether that’s a few hours every weekend or short sessions during the week.
If life gets busy, you simply pick up where you left off.
Where It Falls Short
While the Facebook community is genuinely helpful, support is still more limited than on an all-in-one blogging platform.
You won’t find:
- Live weekly coaching sessions
- Built-in technical website support
- Real-time community chat
- Integrated keyword research assistance
Those aren’t necessarily drawbacks if you’re looking for a standalone course, but they’re worth keeping in mind when comparing Launch Your Blog Biz with platforms that combine training, tools, and ongoing mentoring.
My Take
The community is one of the course’s strongest features.
If you’re nervous about starting a blog on your own, having access to other beginners working through the same journey can make a real difference.
For many new bloggers, that encouragement is just as valuable as the training itself.
Who Is Launch Your Blog Biz For?
Launch Your Blog Biz is designed for complete beginners who want a clear roadmap for starting a blog without feeling overwhelmed.
If you’ve spent weeks watching YouTube videos, reading blog posts, and still aren’t sure what to do next, this course aims to remove that uncertainty.
It’s a particularly good fit if you:
- Want to start your first WordPress blog.
- Prefer step-by-step video lessons over piecing together free content.
- Have limited time and need a structured learning path.
- Want to build a blog around work or family commitments.
- Like learning through checklists, templates, and practical examples.
Parents often fall into this group because blogging can feel like a huge project when you’re already balancing work, school runs, and family life.
Having someone guide you through each stage can make getting started much less intimidating.
It May Not Be the Best Fit If…
Launch Your Blog Biz is less suitable if you:
- Already have an established blog.
- Understand SEO and keyword research.
- Want advanced traffic strategies.
- Need built-in hosting and blogging tools.
- Prefer live coaching or regular mentoring.
If you’re already earning from your blog or looking to scale an existing business, you’ll probably outgrow this course fairly quickly.
My Take
Launch Your Blog Biz knows exactly who it’s designed for.
It doesn’t try to be an advanced SEO programme or an all-in-one blogging platform.
Its goal is much simpler.
Help complete beginners launch a blog with confidence.
Can You Really Get Results With Launch Your Blog Biz?
Yes, but your results will depend far more on your consistency than the course itself.
Launch Your Blog Biz gives you the roadmap.
You still need to do the work.
If you complete the lessons and apply what you learn, realistic early milestones might include:
- Launching your first WordPress website.
- Publishing your first collection of blog posts.
- Understanding the basics of SEO.
- Joining affiliate programmes.
- Building your first email list.
- Earning your first affiliate commission.
Those may sound like small wins, but they’re often the foundation of a successful long-term blogging business.
What the Course Doesn’t Do
No blogging course can guarantee:
- Search engine rankings.
- Website traffic.
- Affiliate income.
- Full-time earnings.
Those outcomes depend on factors such as your niche, content quality, consistency, and how long you’re prepared to keep going.
My Take
One thing I appreciate about Launch Your Blog Biz is that it focuses on building a real blogging business rather than selling unrealistic expectations.
If you’re looking for overnight success, you’ll almost certainly be disappointed.
If you’re willing to learn, publish consistently, and improve over time, the course gives you a solid foundation to build from.
Is Launch Your Blog Biz Worth It in 2026?
Overall, I’d say yes, for the right person.
Despite the growth of AI tools and the increasing amount of free blogging advice available online, there’s still value in having a structured course that tells you exactly what to do next.
That’s where Launch Your Blog Biz continues to perform well.
It removes much of the confusion that causes new bloggers to give up before they ever publish consistent content.
It’s Worth It If…
- You’re starting your first blog.
- You prefer learning through structured lessons.
- You want a one-time purchase rather than an ongoing subscription.
- You value templates, checklists, and community support.
- You need a realistic roadmap that fits around family life.
It May Not Be Worth It If…
- You already understand blogging fundamentals.
- You want advanced SEO strategies.
- You need hosting and blogging tools included.
- You prefer an all-in-one platform with ongoing training.
My Take
Launch Your Blog Biz remains one of the stronger beginner blogging courses available.
The content is approachable, well organised, and genuinely helpful for people starting from scratch.
That said, blogging doesn’t stop once your website is live.
As your skills grow, you’ll probably want more advanced SEO training, keyword research tools, technical support, and continued mentoring.
That’s why I see Launch Your Blog Biz as an excellent starting point rather than a complete long-term blogging solution.
Is Launch Your Blog Biz a Scam?
No.
Launch Your Blog Biz is a legitimate blogging course created by Create & Go, a well-established education company that has helped thousands of bloggers get started online.
Lauren McManus and her team are transparent about what the course offers.
They don’t promise overnight success or guaranteed income.
Instead, they teach a structured process for building a blog and explain that results come from consistent effort over time.
Why Some People Ask This Question
Like many blogging courses, Launch Your Blog Biz makes bold claims about the opportunities blogging can create.
It’s understandable that potential students want to know whether those claims are realistic.
The good news is that the course doesn’t rely on:
- Hidden upsells.
- High-pressure sales tactics.
- Multi-level marketing.
- Recurring membership fees.
- Unrealistic “get rich quick” promises.
You’re buying a standalone course with a clearly stated price and refund policy.
My Take
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Launch Your Blog Biz to someone looking for a beginner blogging course.
That doesn’t mean everyone will succeed.
It means you’re getting genuine training from experienced bloggers rather than empty promises or hype.
As with any blogging course, your success depends far more on your consistency than the course itself.
What Others Are Saying
Launch Your Blog Biz has earned a positive reputation among beginner bloggers, particularly those looking for a straightforward way to launch their first website.
Across review sites, blogs, YouTube videos, and community discussions, the feedback is generally consistent.
What Students Like
Many students praise the course for making blogging feel achievable rather than overwhelming.
Common positives include:
- Clear step-by-step video lessons.
- Beginner-friendly teaching style.
- Helpful templates and downloadable checklists.
- Supportive Facebook community.
- Lifetime access with ongoing updates.
- Practical focus on taking action instead of consuming endless theory.
Many reviewers also mention Lauren’s approachable teaching style, which helps reduce the intimidation many beginners feel when starting WordPress for the first time.
Common Criticisms
No course is perfect, and Launch Your Blog Biz receives a few recurring criticisms.
The most common include:
- Limited advanced SEO training.
- No website hosting or blogging tools included.
- Facebook support rather than integrated community features.
- Experienced bloggers may outgrow the content fairly quickly.
- Some additional Create & Go courses are needed if you want more advanced traffic or monetisation strategies.
Most criticism isn’t about the quality of the course.
It’s simply that the training focuses on helping beginners launch a blog rather than covering every aspect of running an online business.
My Take
Overall, the community reputation reflects my own experience.
Launch Your Blog Biz delivers exactly what it promises.
A structured roadmap that helps complete beginners build their first blog without unnecessary complexity.
Launch Your Blog Biz Pros and Cons
Like any blogging course, Launch Your Blog Biz has clear strengths and a few limitations.
Here’s my balanced view after reviewing everything it offers.
Pros
✅ Excellent step-by-step roadmap for beginners.
✅ Easy-to-follow video lessons.
✅ Helpful templates, worksheets, and checklists.
✅ Supportive private Facebook community.
✅ Lifetime access with course updates.
✅ One-time payment with no monthly subscription.
Cons
❌ Limited advanced SEO and traffic training.
❌ Hosting, keyword research tools, and email software are not included.
❌ Experienced bloggers may find the content too basic.
❌ No live coaching or one-to-one mentoring.
❌ You’ll likely need additional training as your blog grows.
My Take
Launch Your Blog Biz succeeds because it stays focused.
It doesn’t try to teach everything about blogging.
Instead, it concentrates on helping beginners get from “I have an idea” to “I have a working blog.”
For many people, that’s exactly the guidance they need.
If you’re looking for a complete blogging platform with hosting, tools, ongoing SEO training, and community support under one roof, you’ll probably outgrow this course eventually.
But as a starting point, it’s one of the stronger beginner blogging courses available today.
The Create & Go Ecosystem
Launch Your Blog Biz is only one part of the wider Create & Go training ecosystem.

As students become more confident, Create & Go offers additional courses that focus on growing traffic, increasing income, and scaling a blogging business.
Here’s how the main programmes fit together.
| Course | Best For | Focus |
|---|---|---|
| Launch Your Blog Biz | Complete beginners | Starting and launching a profitable blog |
| Built to Blog | Growing bloggers | Content strategy, SEO, and long-term traffic growth |
| Blogging Fast Lane | Bloggers ready to scale | Advanced growth strategies, systems, and implementation |
| Blog by Number | New bloggers wanting structure | A guided blogging framework with practical action steps |
| Creative Biz Launch | Creative entrepreneurs |
It’s worth noting that Create & Go has evolved its product range over the years.
Some programmes have been updated, renamed, combined into bundles, or replaced as blogging and online business trends have changed.
The underlying goal, however, has remained consistent.
Help creators build profitable online businesses through practical, step-by-step education.
My Take
If you’re completely new to blogging, Launch Your Blog Biz is still the logical place to begin.
The more advanced programmes make much more sense once you’ve built your website, published content consistently, and are ready to focus on growing traffic or increasing revenue.
Best Alternatives to Launch Your Blog Biz
Launch Your Blog Biz is one of several excellent beginner blogging courses, but it’s far from your only option.
The best choice depends on where you are in your blogging journey and what kind of support you’re looking for.

|---|---|---|---|
| Wealthy Affiliate | Complete beginners wanting an all-in-one platform | ✅ | ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ |

What a detailed review of Launch Your Blog Biz. I feel like I know exactly what to expect if I try this platform out. It looks great for the beginner blogger. However since I have been a member of Wealthy Affiliate for a number of years, I feel that no other course could top what they offer, especially as they also offer hosting within the platform.
Would you recommend a beginner start with Launch Your Blog Biz or Wealthy Affiliate?
Hey Michel,
Thanks so much — I really appreciate your comment! You’ve made a great point about Wealthy Affiliate — it’s a very comprehensive platform, especially with everything (training, hosting, tools, and community) under one roof. I’ve been a member for years myself, and it really does set the standard for all-in-one learning and building.
That said, I’d say it depends on someone’s starting point and goals.
If a beginner wants a step-by-step blogging course that’s short, structured, and focused purely on getting their first site live, Launch Your Blog Biz can be a great entry point. It’s simple, visual, and helps people gain quick confidence.
But if they want long-term support, built-in hosting, keyword tools, and ongoing training, then Wealthy Affiliate is the stronger investment — it’s more of an ecosystem than a one-time course.
So really, it comes down to whether they want a “get-started fast” framework or a “build-and-grow for the long haul” platform.
Out of curiosity, have you tried any other blogging courses alongside Wealthy Affiliate, or has that been your main learning space so far?
Regards,
John
This review really breaks things down clearly, John. I appreciate how you balance honesty with encouragement. I’ve seen a lot of blogging courses over the years, but very few that seem this parent-friendly in both tone and pacing. I’m curious though, how does the course handle motivation or accountability for parents who tend to lose momentum halfway through? Does the community provide structured challenges or is it more self-directed support?
John
Thanks so much, John!
I really appreciate that! I’m glad the review came across as both honest and encouraging. That’s exactly what I aim for, especially since so many blogging courses can feel overwhelming for parents juggling a lot already.
That’s a great question about motivation and accountability. Launch Your Blog Biz is definitely more self-paced, but the creators do a good job of breaking the process into manageable milestones so it never feels too heavy. There isn’t a built-in challenge system like you’d find inside Wealthy Affiliate, but the lessons are short, action-driven, and ideal for parents who need to make progress in small bursts of time.
For anyone who struggles with momentum, pairing the course with a simple accountability system (like a progress tracker or weekly “blog sprint” with another parent blogger) can make a huge difference. I’ve seen a lot of people thrive just by setting micro-goals. One lesson, one post, one win at a time.
Out of curiosity, have you taken any blogging or business courses that handled accountability really well? I’d love to hear what worked best for you.
Regards
John
