Seacret Direct Review 2026: What Happened To The MLM Opportunity?

Seacret Direct, SEACRET and Viágo are easy to confuse. This research-based review explains the changes, dated documents and checks parents should make.

Seacret Direct rebranded as Viágo, while the SEACRET skincare brand says its former distributor’s MLM programme has ended. This Seacret Direct review separates those businesses and examines the dated opportunity documents. I would not commit money without confirming the current offer, UK eligibility, full costs and applicable earnings terms.

Heads up: This is a research-based review, checked on 30 October 2026. I have not joined Seacret Direct or Viágo, bought a Club membership or tested SEACRET skincare. I am not using their referral links. I am a Wealthy Affiliate member and affiliate, and may earn a commission if you join through links on my site.

If someone has mentioned Seacret Direct as a way to earn from home, an old review may leave you with the wrong picture. You need to know which business is taking your payment and what you would actually be buying today.

This article assesses the opportunity and the available evidence. It is not a skincare product review or a full evaluation of every Viágo membership benefit.

What Was Seacret Direct?

Seacret Direct was associated with a multi-level marketing opportunity selling SEACRET-branded skincare. The important point today is that the old skincare opportunity and the current retail brand should not be treated as interchangeable.

Old presentations can remain online long after a business changes. A familiar product name, an Agent title or a commission diagram does not establish that the offer still exists on those terms.

Before looking at the potential income, establish what the invitation refers to. Otherwise, you may research one company while being asked to pay another.

NameWhat To Distinguish
SEACRETThe skincare brand
Seacret DirectThe former distributor associated with the skincare MLM programme
ViágoThe name used following Seacret Direct’s rebrand
Club ViágoA membership offering, distinct from an Ambassador business account

How Is SEACRET Different From Seacret Direct?

SEACRET is the product brand, while Seacret Direct was a separate distributor. The brand’s current explanation says the former distributor programme has ended and Seacret Direct no longer sells its products.

The US retail website now presents ordinary product purchasing rather than a distributor opportunity. That statement concerns the brand’s current sales arrangements; it is not proof that every business connected with the old distributor name has disappeared.

This distinction also matters when reading reviews. A complaint about an old commission account should not automatically be attached to a new retail order placed with a different company.

I have not tested the skincare. Product performance and the suitability of an income opportunity require different evidence.

Who Are The Companies Behind These Names?

The current SEACRET brand information identifies Seacret Spa Ltd. as the brand owner and Deadsea Com LLC as the operator of its US online store. Its About page dates the brand’s origins to Israel in 2004.

The published Viágo Ambassador agreement instead identifies Seacret Direct LLC doing business as Viágo. That is the relevant distinction when checking the counterparty to an opportunity agreement.

I would not combine these into a single founder or ownership story. Confirming the legal name on the actual contract is more useful than relying on a brand history repeated across older reviews.

Quick Note: I’m John Crossley, founder of Flex For Families. I review online business opportunities through the lens of family life, focusing on costs, time commitments, risks, and whether they genuinely help parents create more flexibility.

What Happened To Seacret Direct?

Seacret Direct rebranded as Viágo, according to reporting published by Direct Selling News on 23 September 2024. The old Seacret Direct web address also redirected to a Viágo-branded address when checked for this review.

The 2024 trade report described a broader lifestyle membership alongside products. It is evidence of what was being promoted then, not a verified catalogue of everything available now.

There are two separate developments to understand. One concerns the distributor’s rebrand; the other concerns the SEACRET brand’s statement about the end of its former MLM arrangement.

I would not describe that combination simply as “SEACRET shut down”. It obscures the distinction readers most need to understand.

How Are Viágo And Club Viágo Connected?

Viágo appears in the published opportunity documents, while Club Viágo is described as a customer membership programme. A customer membership and an Ambassador account serve different purposes.

The published membership terms describe recurring membership payments for access to benefits. Paying for those benefits should be assessed separately from deciding to promote an opportunity.

An offer may combine several elements in one presentation. Ask for an itemised explanation of what you are buying and which parts can be cancelled independently.

For a parent with a limited budget, this prevents a common misunderstanding: treating access to a club as though it were a paid job. Membership benefits are purchases, not wages.

Can You Still Join The Original Skincare MLM Opportunity?

I would not treat an invitation to join the old Seacret Direct skincare programme as a verified current offer. The SEACRET brand’s published position is that the former arrangement has ended.

If somebody sends you an old enrolment link or starter-pack image, request current written confirmation from the business named on the agreement. A distributor’s reassurance does not resolve whether the offer is authorised or available in your country.

Avoid buying a package merely because it is described as a limited chance to join an established brand. First establish whether it is a product purchase, membership or Ambassador registration.

A genuine seller should be able to explain that distinction without rushing you. If the details remain unclear, waiting or declining is reasonable.

Is A Current UK Opportunity Verified?

I have not verified a current UK joining offer for this review. That is a research limitation, not a finding that participation is definitely prohibited.

The accessible Viágo Ambassador agreement is effective December 2024 and lists specified markets. Its reference to the European Union does not, by itself, establish eligibility for a UK resident.

Before considering any current invitation, ask for the UK-specific contract, applicable compensation plan and confirmation of country eligibility. Check that the name receiving payment matches the documents.

If those documents are unavailable, I would not use a sponsor’s screenshot or an old international price list as a substitute. Parents need a decision they can assess, rather than an assumption that the paperwork will work out later.

What Joining Costs Can We Actually Confirm?

We can identify charges in dated Viágo documents, but I cannot present them as a verified current UK quotation. Historical fees and today’s actual checkout are different evidence.

The December 2024 Ambassador agreement lists a US$49 initial registration charge and US$99 renewal charge for specified markets, with different charges for its listed NFR markets. These are dated terms, not a complete current joining budget.

Cost AreaWhat To Obtain Before Paying
Ambassador registrationCurrent charge, currency and country eligibility
RenewalAmount, frequency and whether collection is automatic
Club membershipSeparate joining and recurring payments
Products or optional packagesWhat is necessary and what is merely recommended
Sales qualificationConditions for each payment type
Operating expensesAny marketing, events or other spending you choose

Do not convert an old dollar fee into a pound estimate and call it the UK price. Currency conversion cannot establish eligibility, taxes or the local agreement.

I would also calculate the full first year rather than focus on registration. Small recurring charges can become a significant commitment when added together.

How Did The Selling And Compensation Models Work?

The dated Viágo disclosure distinguishes customer membership, direct sales-related earnings and qualifying team compensation. It should not be mistaken for proof of the old skincare plan’s current availability.

Its November 2024 disclosure says membership and Ambassador accounts are distinct. It describes direct earnings connected with customers and multi-level payments at a qualified level, rather than payment merely for introducing another Ambassador.

Those distinctions deserve accurate reporting. They do not establish that a prospective participant would find enough customers or make a profit.

For any current proposal, request the actual calculation. What customer transaction generates payment, what conditions apply, and what happens after refunds or cancellations?

I would avoid reproducing a historical rank chart as a current earning roadmap. The relevant plan needs a version, date and country before its percentages become useful.

What Does The Public Income Disclosure Show?

The disclosure I located does not provide an earnings distribution establishing typical participant profit. It explains account types and the opportunity, but does not answer how much an ordinary new participant is likely to keep after costs.

The page is dated November 2024 and refers to a new compensation plan taking effect in December 2024. It says an updated disclosure was planned for June 2025. I did not locate that replacement during this research.

That is a gap in the evidence available to this review. It does not prove there is no newer document anywhere, that nobody earns or that every participant loses money.

Ask for current figures showing the population covered, people earning nothing and whether expenses are deducted. An average that excludes some participants can answer a different question from the one you think you asked.

For a household needing predictable income, I would not budget against an unsupported forecast. A lifestyle photograph and a confident presentation do not provide an earnings distribution.

Are Membership Points The Same As Cash Earnings?

No. Points, booking credits and commissions can have different values, restrictions and uses. Do not add them together as though they were all money available for household bills.

The dated Club terms link some points to membership conditions. Before relying on a reward, check how it is earned, where it can be spent and what happens if membership stops.

A benefit may be useful without being income. Equally, a large points balance may have little practical value if it cannot be used for the purchases your family would otherwise make.

Ask to see the conditions before joining. A promotional claim about the value of a reward is not the same as cash you can withdraw.

How Should Parents Assess A Travel Membership?

Assess the membership’s value using bookings you would genuinely make, including the subscription cost. Savings on a trip you would never otherwise take do not improve your existing budget.

Compare the same dates, room type, occupancy and cancellation conditions. Include booking charges, taxes and anything your family needs, rather than comparing two headline prices.

Here is a hypothetical example, not a Viágo price or savings claim. If a club costs £30 a month, the annual cost is £360. Saving £100 on one comparable booking would still leave £260 of membership cost to justify through other benefits.

Flexibility matters for parents, too. A trip that cannot accommodate school dates, children or a change of plans may be poor value even if the advertised discount is substantial.

I have not tested the booking system or verified a savings claim. This is a way to assess an offer, not a finding about its actual travel prices.

Before You Join Any MLM…

Many parents join MLMs hoping for more freedom and flexibility. My guide explains how the model works, the common pitfalls to watch for, and the one question every parent should ask before signing up.

Will it create more flexibility for your family?

What Should You Check If Someone Invites You To Join?

Start by identifying the exact offer and obtaining the current documents. You cannot assess the costs or likely work properly until that is clear.

  1. Identify the company. Get its legal name, website and the name that will appear on your payment.
  2. Identify the account. Establish whether you are buying products, membership benefits or an Ambassador opportunity.
  3. Confirm country eligibility. Ask for the terms applicable to your residence.
  4. List every charge. Separate registration, renewal, subscriptions and optional purchases.
  5. Examine the earnings evidence. Look for current participant results rather than individual success stories.
  6. Check the exit process. Read the cancellation and refund conditions before paying.

If the invitation changes name during the conversation, ask why. There may be an ordinary explanation, but you should understand it before committing money.

You can respect the person making the invitation and still obtain a second opinion. A polished AI-generated explanation is not stronger evidence than the documents it is supposed to summarise.

Can You Cancel Or Get A Refund?

Cancellation and refunds depend on the company, account, purchase and applicable terms. A product return policy should not be substituted for a membership or business agreement.

The dated Viágo refund page treats physical-product returns and subscription cancellation separately. It also includes timing conditions around the next billing cycle.

If you are already paying, use your own agreement and the current official support route. Retain the cancellation request, acknowledgement and any required return evidence.

Where two published pages differ, ask the company which version governs your account. I would not promise a universal refund period from these older public documents, particularly for an unverified UK offer.

How Should You Read Complaints And Older Reviews?

Attach a complaint to the correct company, date and transaction before drawing a conclusion. Similar branding can otherwise make unrelated experiences look interchangeable.

Reported ExperienceWhat To Check
A skincare order problemSeller, order date and website used
An old Agent commission disputeCompany and compensation plan then in effect
A membership billing complaintMembership agreement and cancellation timeline
A travel-booking issueBooking provider, booking terms and specific transaction

An employee review is not automatically an independent distributor’s earnings report. A product testimonial is not evidence that a selling opportunity is profitable.

I have not produced a complaint rate or treated a handful of posts as representative of all customers. The naming history makes careful attribution more useful than a sweeping star-rating comparison.

Is Seacret Direct A Scam Or An Illegal Pyramid Scheme?

The evidence in this review does not justify a blanket scam accusation or a legal finding about the business. It does justify caution about outdated offers and insufficiently verified current terms.

MLM describes a compensation structure, not a court judgement. The existence of products also does not establish that a particular opportunity is financially suitable for you.

The better question is whether the current proposal is identifiable, documented and supported by credible evidence. If you cannot establish those basics, you do not need to prove wrongdoing before deciding not to join.

For a wider framework, my MLM guide for parents explains how to assess spending, sales work and household risk.

Would This Make Sense For Busy Parents?

I would not recommend committing to an unverified current offer as a first income option for parents. The uncertainty around the actual terms needs resolving before a realistic family-fit assessment can begin.

If the work involves selling memberships or products, customer acquisition and follow-up still take time. Supporting a team can add further responsibilities, depending on the plan.

Those tasks need a place in your actual week. Include school holidays, illness and administration, rather than assuming a phone-based activity will fit into every spare minute.

I would also keep any spending within an amount you can afford without future commissions. If the first payment depends on hoped-for earnings to make it affordable, pause.

The Flexibility Test
Before joining any MLM, I encourage parents to ask one simple question:
Will this create more flexibility for my family, or simply create more work?
It’s easy to focus on income claims, bonuses, and success stories. But as parents, our time is often our most valuable resource. Consider how much selling, networking, recruiting, and ongoing effort will be required before deciding whether this opportunity is the right fit for your family.

Would Blogging Be A Better Alternative?

Blogging is my preferred route to explore because it lets you develop useful content for an audience without joining a product or membership downline. It still requires work, has costs and may never generate meaningful income.

An affiliate blogger can recommend relevant products through researched reviews, comparisons and tutorials. The income depends on attracting readers and generating qualifying referrals, not simply publishing links.

ConsiderationA Membership Or Direct-Selling OpportunityBlogging With Affiliate Marketing
Main activityFinding customers and servicing the offerResearching, publishing and updating helpful content
DependenceThe provider’s products, membership terms and planTraffic sources, affiliate terms and audience demand
SpendingVerify registration, recurring fees and other conditionsBudget for hosting, training and any chosen tools
IncomeUncertainUncertain

My preference does not make blogging automatically cheaper or more reliable. Buying too many tools or expensive training can create its own financial pressure.

I have been a Wealthy Affiliate member since September 2016 and am an affiliate. My Wealthy Affiliate review explains that option and its limitations so you can assess the recommendation with that relationship in mind.

About the Reviewer

Hi, I’m John Crossley, founder of Flex For Families.

I’m a parent, blogger, and online business owner who helps families find realistic ways to create more flexibility through blogging, affiliate marketing, and online business.

Like many people, I’ve spent years researching online opportunities, testing platforms, and learning how to separate genuine business models from expensive hype. I’ve also experienced the frustration of chasing opportunities that promised freedom but demanded more time away from family.

Today, I use that experience to review courses, side hustles, AI opportunities, and online business programmes through a simple lens:

Will this genuinely help parents create more flexibility, or will it create more pressure?

Every review on Flex For Families focuses on costs, time commitments, risks, and realistic expectations, so you can make informed decisions before investing your time or money.

What Is My Final Verdict On Seacret Direct?

Treat old Seacret Direct invitations and reviews as information to verify, rather than a current joining offer. The naming and business changes make that verification essential.

I would not commit money unless the company provides current applicable terms, country eligibility, a complete cost schedule and evidence supporting any earnings claims. That is a decision standard, not an allegation that every related business has closed.

For most parents starting from scratch, I would explore a more clearly understood project before taking on an uncertain commitment. Blogging is the route I prefer, with the realistic expectations discussed above.

If you want to consider that approach, start with my Parent Blogging Starter Kit. Use it to think through your topic, time and budget before paying for tools or training.

Frequently Asked Questions

These answers clarify the names and evidence behind the review. Current account-specific terms should always take priority over an old presentation.

What Happened To Seacret Direct?

Trade reporting documented a rebrand to Viágo in 2024. SEACRET separately says its former distributor’s skincare MLM programme has ended. Those developments should not be confused with the retail brand disappearing.

Did Seacret Direct Become Viágo?

The rebrand was reported in September 2024, and the old Seacret Direct address redirected to Viágo when checked. This alone does not verify the terms or availability of a current joining offer.

Is SEACRET Skincare Still In Business?

The brand currently presents retail products through its official channels. Product shopping is distinct from joining the former Seacret Direct opportunity.

Are SEACRET And Seacret Direct The Same Company?

No. The current brand information distinguishes its owner from the former distributor. Check the legal entity on the specific order or agreement rather than relying on similar names.

Can You Still Join The Old Skincare Opportunity?

I would not treat an old starter-pack or Agent invitation as a verified current offer. Obtain current written confirmation from the company named in the proposed agreement before paying.

Is Viágo Available To UK Residents?

I have not verified a current UK joining offer. A reference to EU markets in an older international document does not establish UK eligibility.

What Does The Income Disclosure Show?

The public document located is dated 2024 and does not establish typical participant profit. I did not locate the replacement it said was planned, so this review does not provide a typical-income forecast.

Are Membership Points The Same As Earnings?

No. Points may have spending restrictions and membership conditions. Cash commissions and the value of a benefit should be assessed separately.

Is Seacret Direct An Illegal Pyramid Scheme?

This review does not establish an applicable legal finding to support that label. It recommends checking the current offer, costs and evidence rather than drawing a legal conclusion from branding or an MLM label alone.

What Should You Check Before Paying?

Confirm the legal company, account type, country eligibility, complete charges, applicable compensation terms and exit process. If those details remain unclear, waiting or declining is reasonable.
